Before Maddy and Abbi started the school year, their wonderful mother took them to Park City for a day filled with lots of shopping, delicious food and of course time to make some fun memories on the Alpine Slide! The Wheat family threw me and a good family friend a BIG birthday party. We had a live band, lots of food, vollyball, inflatables and an outdoor movie! It was the best birthday ever! My cute best friend and "BIG" sister turned 21! We stared her day off by boating with the family at Utah Lake. Later that night, one of her best friends Cassie planned a night with everyone at the Bee's game for her. She had most of her close friends there at the game and had such a great time. The weather was perfect so we all got general admission and sat out on the grass. After the game there were was a firework show, we all just pretended it was for her :)

Happy Birthday KAYLI! I love you so much girl! Hope your 21st was amazing.... Can't wait to go to Vegas in July to celebrate yours and mine.

For her birthday she wanted a morning and afternoon of boating with her family and some close friends so that's what we did. We went to Utah Lake for the day and had such a great time.

Cindy had a birthday! She is 39+ haha. I think she'd kill me if I said her real age on here. I don't know why because she really isn't old and even if she was... she's still a hot mama! To celebrate we all went to her house for dinner and then ice cream cake! I think she had a really good birthday. For her real celebration she and Randy and a few friends are going down to Lake Powell for an adult vacation. Sounds fun! I just want to say Happy Birthday to the a wonderful mom and incrediable women! I love you so much!

Maddy tried out for Miss Draper - Rodeo Royalty 2011.

Maddy is such a sweet girl who has such a great spirit about her. She worked so hard and did a great job preparing for this. She and her mom, Lisa made her dress! Maddy designed it, Lisa put it together and Maddy did the finishing touches with all the bling! Without playing favorites I really think Maddy was by far one of the best. She did great in her interview, her speech and during her routine with her horse. She didn't get crowned or place but the effort she put in and the support she had was amazing! I really hope she tries out for it next year.

Mexican Rivera Cruise 2011

I was able to go on a wonderful 7 day cruise this year with my amazing family. This year was a little different, the whole family came! :) For Christmas we all got offered a 7 day cruise as long as we paid for our flight. We had a great time. We visited Cabo San Lucas twice and Puerto Vallarta. Here are some pictures from the trip!

This is our second day in Cabo. We started the day off by splitting up in groups. Randy, Cindy, Carter and Skylar went deep sea fishing, while Kayli, Me, Blake, Valerie and Bronx had fun exploring Cabo. We started off at the Dolphin Encounter. We watch people feed them and play with them and swim with them! We weren't able to take any pictures but still had a good time. After the encounter we walked around until we found a place to have some lunch. Here we are above having lunch together. The food was really good and so was the atmosphere. :)

Yes - That is a real baby lion. After lunch we walked around, did a lot of sight seeing and shopping. They had a small booth with a baby lion. For $25.00 three people could hold the lion and take pictures. Kinda cool huh! Above is Kayli and I at the Cabo Wabo Cantina. Its a famous restaurant owned by a famous guy....Sammy Hagar of Van Halen.

The next day we were in Puarto Vellarta. Here we are getting all geared up to do the zip line canopy tours. This was mine and Kayli's second time doing something like this but Blake, Val's and Skylar's first. This tour was so much fun!!

After the tour we had some fun in the city. Here is me and Bronx at the monkey place where Skylar and Kayli held and fed a monkey. The man above is name Jorge and he paints pictures but in a very unique way. He only uses his fingers. He is so talented and paints such beautiful pictures.

The Wheat family had a German exchange student staying with them for three weeks. They had this planned way before the idea of me living with them had come up and the day she came was the day I moved in :) Her name is Nadja. She is 16 and now just like a sister to us all!! While here in Utah; Nadja got to site see, experiance the LDS Church (she is catholic) have three sisters, ride and drive a four wheeler, get glitter toes, a night in Park City and totally loved from a great family! It was so hard to have her leave when she did, she is missed so much!! She was such a sweet and very funny girl! Here are a few pictures from her being here.

So a quick story, Lisa made German pancakes for breakfast one day because Nadja was here and when Lisa told her that's what they were Nadja started to laugh and said this is not German pancakes so.... one day Nadja made us real German pancakes and they were oh so good! Very different from ours :) Anyways.... so she has never had american pancakes so the night before she had to leave we all went out at 10:30 to Village in to get american pancakes and have one last get together with her. My little sister Michaela turned 19! To celebrate we went to Park City overnight. Michaela invited our cousin Jessica, Maddi (one of the girls I live with) and Nadja who is a foreign exchange student from Germany staying with us. We stayed at Randy & Cindy's Deer Valley home. The girls loved it!! Nadja has really enjoyed the mountains, so to be right there in it was amazing for her. For dinner we went to Main Street Pizza & Noodle Co. then home to hot tub and watch a movie and in the morning everyone slept in, ate breakfast then of course we went to the Tanger Outlet Mall to do some SHOPPING!! :)

Weekend in Meeker

My little sister Michaela, our little Chihuahua Maddixx and I went to Meeker, CO to visit with our oldest sister Brandy, her two kidlits and our mother. We left really late Friday night and ended up getting caught in a really bad snow storm. The storm was the long stretch from Heber City to Vernal... It wasn't fun at all.

After our scary and very long drive we finally made it to the small town of Meeker around 12:30am. I was so tired and also really anxious to get out of my car!

Saturday my sister Brandy had to work so my mom, Michaela, Ashlynn, Maddixx and I decided to head to a town called Craig about an hour from Meeker. My nephew Austin didn't want to come so he stayed with his friends and we had a nice little girls right, beside Maddixx. When we got to Craig we got lunch and then we took a tour around the town. I liked Craig a lot more than Meeker. There is seriously NOTHING to do in Meeker. Craig is a lot bigger and had much more to do. Craig is a small town but not nearly as small as Meeker. We headed back to my sisters and spent the rest of the night watching movies and hanging out. It was good to see my mom and nephew. Michaela and I both hadn't seen them in a while. It was a nice short trip and our drive back to Utah was very smooth.

Festival of Colors

So I got talked into going to the Festival of Colors this year. Kayli went last year and had a blast and invited me this year. I didn't quite know what to expect but went anyways. WOW what a crazy event that was! So to start off we got a group together to go; Me, Kayli, Savanna, Hunter and Skylar. We all drove down together and of course we were all excited and having a good time.

When we reached Spanish Fork and saw some people leaving the event, Hunter and I were not excited to go anymore... It was a complete mess! So I don't really know the meaning behind the festival of colors but what you do there is get bags of chalk and throw it at people. So anyways... Hunter and I really were not excited to go but we drove all this way and so of course we still ended up going. As we were walking up to the entrance some people that were leaving throw some orange at Hunter!! It was on from there... We ended up having a lot of fun and I'm really glad we went. Even though the blonde in my hair is now stained pink I did have fun. Not sure if I'll go through that ever again but I can say I went. :) Thanks for a fun time guys.

I got to go to the Larry the Cable Guy, Bill Engval and Jeff Foxworthy comedy show with some amazing ladies. My friend Terri got four tickets from our boss to go see the show. Nerf War

I had a really fun Friday morning at work. All of the employee's decided we were going to have a nerf war and attack our boss when he came in that morning. Everyone had a nerf gun and we all wore cameo. Our boss was a great sport and thought it was pretty funny so we played the game on a couple other employees that day as well. My cute cousin Jessica turned 14! For her birthday she wanted her tounge pierced. I took her to Blue Boutique to get it done.Here she is before..... And here she is during it.... To my surprise she didn't cry and she said it didn't hurt at all. I talked to the dude that pierced her tounge and he said the tounge is the least painful thing to pierce! Crazy huh!! I didn't get an after picture because her tounge was too swollen and she needed to keep her mouth shut for some time. The next day I took her shopping and to a movie. It was a great time....Happy Birthday Jessie!

Girls Night Out!

I had a really fun night with a best friend, sister and cousin! Kayli and I were house sitting for her mom that week and decided to take advantage of that and have my sister and cousin over Friday night. I hadn't had any contact with my cousin Jessica for about a year and half because of her dear old dad SO when I heard from her I was super excited and really wanted to see her and start doing some fun stuff with her.

Ashlynn's visit to Utah

My sister Brandy, her boyfriend Jason and of course Ashlynn came down from Meeker, CO to visit some family over the weekend. They woke me up Saturday morning and we began our wonderful time out together... Ashlynn's birthday was January 12th, she turned 5 so for her birthday she had a choice to get her ears pierced again for go to build a bear. She choose to go to Build A Bear and she loved it!! Here she is making her very own bear.

Monster Truck Show

Randy & Cindy took the family to see the Monster Truck Show Saturday night. It was a pretty fun night :) We had great seats and everyone was a lot of fun! I brought Adam, Kayli came as well as my little sister. Carter brought a friend and then Randy's son Matt and his wife and kids came as well. The Maverick monster truck was the winner! So one thing that i really like about the Monster Truck show is the fans... There are some serious fans... they make it so much more fun! haha the people a couple rows ahead of us were crackin us up!

I got baptised into the Church of Jesus Christ... that's right I am now a Mormon and couldn't be happier. :) I just want to say thank you to my family and friends that have supported me in this and never left my side. Merry Christmas everyone! I hope all my family and friends had a very blessed, wonderful, safe and memorable Christmas this year! I had an amazing Christmas. I started Christmas morning off at my dad's house with my little sister, my mom and dad. I think we all had a great Christmas- Thank you Mom, Dad and Michaela for the great gifts- I love you guys and was so happy to see you Christmas morning.

I went to Cindy and Randy's as well Christmas morning. Kayli, Blake & Val, Carter and Sky were all there... I think we can all agree that we had a great Christmas there too! Thank you so much everyone for all the great things you got me... I feel so blessed to have you as my family. After everyone was done opening presents we made breakfast as a family and relaxed a little. Later that day I met up with Adam, he took me to meet his mom and step dad, his mom was so cute and pretty funny in her own way. Thank you so much Adam for letting me meet you mom. :) Later that day Adam and I went to the movies to see Tron with two of his brothers. Its their tradition to go see a movie Christmas day. It was great to meet more of Adam's family :) Adam thank you so much for all you got me! Merry Christmas!

Christmas Eve

This year I spent my Christmas eve with some very important, special and great people. I started my day off by finishing up some last minute shopping with Kayli. We had fun getting ready in the morning together, grabbing lunch that afternoon together and then shopping! We haven't done that for sometime so it was really nice to be able to do that. When Kayli and I were done I met up with Adam to run some errands and get some gifts. We headed to Donna's moms for Christmas eve dinner... early dinner- It was the first time Adam was going to meet the Nelson family, we didn't spend much time there but we were able to help set the table and mingle a little bit. They loved him of course!After Donna's we went to Randy and Cindy's for dinner... it was wonderful of course. All of Cindy's kids were there and two of Randy's were able to make it. We had a great time hanging out, eating and opening some gifts. I was really so grateful and happy to be able to spend my Christmas eve with the Nelson Family, Kayli and her brothers & sister in law, the Mellor's and Adam. Everyone means so much to me and I love you all dearly! Thank you for making me apart of your Christmas this year. :)

Cindy has started a new tradition that every year the night before Christmas Eve we all get together as a family and make candy! This was our first year doing it and it was so much fun! Everyone was there, Skylar, Blake and Valerie, Kayli, Adam and I, Carter and Randy's son Matt and his wife Shantay and their three kids, Tasha, Talia and Jonas.... One big happy family! :) We made suckers, carmel, chocolate covered rice crispy treats, turtles and so much more. It was a great time and I think a great new tradition. Thanks mama Cindy!

Work Christmas Party

My work's annual Christmas party was held at Rodizio Grill in Trolley Square this year. Let me start off by saying that this party was by far THE BEST ONE YET!!! OMG!! We had a blast this year! So my boss, Steve, had a great idea to have a karaoke night. It was so much fun and everyone enjoyed it! This year was really cool too because one of my best friends, Kayli started working here so she got to be apart of it. :) We started the night off with everyone just mingling and catching up a bit... then we had an awesome dinner! After dinner the real fun began. I sang with Christy and Sonja- we were the opening act, we sang Jingle Bell Rock... we didn't do so well, we were laughing way to hard and couldn't get it straight... Good thing the following acts were MUCH better! I was seriously shocked! I work with some very talented people! After all the performances we got out on the dance floor for some fun! :) I work at a great company! Thank you so much Steve for an awesome time! A trip to Meeker...

My oldest sister Brandy and my niece Ashlynn live in Meeker, Colorado... for those of you who don't know where that's at it's in the middle of NOWHERE!! Its about 300 miles from Salt Lake City and to give you an idea of just how small this town is... a 5 year old can give you a tour and the tour of the whole town can be done in about 2 songs on the radio... it's a really small town. Well anyways...Adam and I made the trip down there to see them for Christmas and to get some gifts from her to give to the family. All in all the trip was good- I really enjoyed seeing my sister and Ashlynn, the town was super boring so I'm glad we didn't stay but still good to go and see them. I got to meet my sisters boyfriends family and that was nice, they owe the local store there- its like the walmart of Meeker. We had a really enjoyable and safe trip there and back.

Everyone at my work wanted to do something for the kids at the Boys & Girls Club for Christmas, we all decided it would be really cool if we could give them something- Turns out the kids were in a great need of coats, gloves, scarfs, hoodies and backpacks. We started spreading the word that we were collecting those items to give to the kids. We only had about three weeks to get donations and in those short three weeks the results were great! So many people at my work as well as our customers really stepped up and helped out. Friday a couple of us went to the Club to drop everything off- The kids were so grateful and so excited for all the new stuff! It was such a great experience! I love kids and I love giving so for me their cute little faces lighting up was such a gift back to me and for my co-workers. We had perfect timing as well- Santa was scheduled to visit the kids at 5 that day- we got there at 3 with all the stuff so Santa was able to give each child a gift! How amazing is that!? I am so glad we are sponsering the Club this year, the staff has been great and the kids are always wonderful! I really hope all the kids had a great Christmas.

Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving! I had a wonderful Thanksgiving this year. I got to see so many people that i love and are truly grateful for. I started my Thanksgiving off the night before by making pies with Cindy, Valerie, Kayli and Carter :) It was so fun to learn how to make the pie crust and then put it all together. Thanksgiving Day I went to Cindy and Randy's at noon for their family dinner. The food was amazing! Cindy has always been a wonderful cook so i wasn't surprised. The day with them was great, I got to see Blake, Valerie and their baby Bronx who is almost one now... Skylar, Carter and Kayli and of course Cindy and Randy. Everyone was in such a great mood and having a really good time with each other.

Later that day my dad, Michaela and myself went to Donna's mom's for another amazing dinner. There i got to see a lot of faces that I don't normally get to see. :) It was cool to see how some of them has changed and to get some time to talk with them. Donna's son in law Cliff, deep fried the turkey and it was sooo good! I had never had that before and i loved it! We stayed there for a bit and got stuffed and relaxed with everyone. We really had such a nice time, after we left there i took my dad and Michaela to Cindy's for some pie that i made! It was so yummy!

There are so many things that I'm grateful for.... My wonderful and amazing family- Each individual person has been there for me in one way or another and I am who I am today because of all of you. You all mean the world to me. I feel so blessed to be apart of your lives and so grateful for you all. My crazy, loving and beautiful friends and co-workers- You are all like family to me- I am grateful for all you have done for me over the years. I would also like to express how grateful I am for my job, I truly love what I do and I'm grateful for the industry and company I work for. :)

Boys & Girls Club Trunker Treat

This year my work sponsered The Boys & Girls Club of South Valley- Our first activity with them so far was a trunker treat held at their place.... We had a HUGE turn out thanks to the wonderful people at InfiniTeam Insurance and all our family and friends that came out to support this. There was about 150 kids this year from the Club, all of them were so sweet and so dang cute running around and having fun with all of us. When I was a little kid I went to the Boys & Girls Club- I had a great experience when I was young so it felt so good to be able to help out and give the kids a good time! :)

Pumpkin Carving

I can only remember one other time in my life that I carved a pumpkin and that was so many years ago so when I got invited to carve pumpkins I was soooo excited! I went over to Aaron's moms house and we all had a really good time carving our pumpkins and afterwards we baked the seeds and they turned out great! Thanks Candy for such a fun time!

Girls Trip 2010

Once again my wonderful work sent all the lovely ladies at InfiniTeam Insurance minus Kayli, to Park City for our annual Girls Retreat weekend! We all had such an amazing time and didn't want the weekend to end. This year we stayed at Randy & Cindy's gorgeous Deer Valley home, which was incrediable and this year everyone was able to make it for at least a whole day!

Friday afternoon we started to head up the mountain, everyone kind of went at different times but we were all there at about 5. After everyone got the grand tour and got all settled in we all changed into our comfy cloths then we started munching, talking, playing games and then started dinner. We had the best dinner! We had steak and chicken kabobs with grilled shrimp and garlic bread! It was so tasty and cooked perfectly. After dinner everyone just hung out, played more games, watched movies or just read a book and of course some hot tubing!

Saturday was such a wonderful day, we had crapes with just about every topping you could think of! They were amazing! After breakfast our message therapists arrived to start our individual hour messages! Oh they were heavenly... My message wasn't until later on so i watched a movie and relaxed. While some ladies were getting messages others were either relaxing, getting their toes done or doing some crafts. That night we all went out to dinner at Cisero's and then we saw Thriller! It was such a fun night, when we got back to the house i wasn't feeling very well and pretty tired so i just went to bed early, while most of the other ladies stayed up doing crafts and hanging out.

Sunday morning was a nice and quite one, Starr made us a delicious breakfast and the rest of the day (until we had to leave) we did crafts and hung out. It was such a great weekend and by far the best InfiniTeam Girls Retreat. Thank you so much Steve for sending us away for a wonderful weekend and thank you ladies for making it so great!

Mellor Wedding

These two people, Randy and Cindy have tied the knot! They married at their house in Deer Creek. They have been dating for almost three years now and have finally decided to take the next step and get married.

Cindy totally adopted me into her family as one of her own and has just been so great to me. She is one of the most incredible women I have ever met and I'm so grateful and feel so lucky to have her in my life and to be apart of hers. She give love when others wouldn't and shows understanding when no one would. I really can't thank her enough for all she's done for me and continues to do. I'm really happy for her and i really hope Randy knows what kind of women he is tied to forever... she's the best! I wish them all the best and so much happiness!

All of Cindy's children were able to attend as well as her parents and best friend Jan, Carter, Cindy's youngest was one of the ring bearers... Three of Randy's children and his mother were able to attend, his grandson, Jonas was also a ring bearer... so cute!

Utah State Fair

This year i went to the Utah State Fair with some of my roommates and their friends- we had a blast! I really had no idea the fair could be that fun! I got talked into riding a mechanical bull name T-Bone- that was a sight to see lol then we all took a ride on the the BIG YELLOW SLIDE... and then later we went on a stupid spinning ride that makes you sick and just isn't any fun at all

My oldest sister, Brandy and my adorable little niece moved to Colorado over the weekend. I'm not sure the exact reason at this point and I'm not sure if she made it either. I just heard from my dad and my other older sister that she was moving. I guess things weren't really working out with her and her boyfriend and maybe she's just tired of Utah. I don't think she has a phone at this point so I just emailed her. I haven't heard if she's made it there ok or what but i hope so. I'm going to miss my cute little niece. I really hope she's going to be ok and that nothing bad will happen to either of them. I wish I could have at least got to say goodbye but my sister was in such a rush that no one got to. I hope they come back to visit soon or move back... My sister has no family in Colorado- just one friend.

I want to be healthy and start working out!!! Let me start of by saying that i do NOT think im fat or that I need to lose weight!

For awhile now I have really been wanting to start working out to get fit, get tone and to just be in shape, again not to lose weight. I'm not fat and I like my body but... I'm not healthy. I have no exercise what so ever in my life right now and I want that to change. I used to run a lot and I really enjoyed it but I haven't ran like really ran for so long! I also want to start eatting healthy. I've started to cut out some junk foods- I haven't ate any chips- well i did at a BBQ the other day but other than that i've steered clear... and i've only had 2 rockstars a week for the last month!! ( that's success for me right there? )

THE GOALS:

To work out 3 times a week for 30 minutes at least!

To eat healthy!

Wow its August already! I can't believe how time has flown by!! Summer is just about over and fall will be here before we all know it. I had a really good summer and I'm excited for fall. I really enjoy the fall weather and cloths lol :) silly i know, but that's me!

I'm registered at Salt Lake Community College and I'm really excited to go! I haven't signed up for any classes yet because my FAFSA is taking forever!! You would think they would make financial aid easy- I can go pick out my classes right now but I don't want to register for any right now until the aid comes through... The last thing I need right now is more debt. I'm sure it will all come through in time- at SLCC you can actually still sign up for classes up to the second week of September...lets hope it doesn't get to that but if it does its a good thing.

So on August 25th... it will be exactly 5 months until Christmas- i know it seems to soon to be thinking of even talking about Christmas or winter for that matter but this year has just gone by so fast and same with this month that i just know Christmas will be here before we know it!! I love the holidays so I'm really excited! Things will be a little different this year tho, money will still be very tight so i wont be doing what I did for my family and friends what I did last year, but that's ok. :) I have been browsing blogs and found a really cool blog- this very creative and talented lady has some of the cutest, coolest and really unique gift ideas and a lot of recipes that look so good! I'm gonna try some of her stuff and see how it goes.

I finally got in touch with a really good and close friend of mine, Kannesha. We've been friends since 8th grade. She moved to Sandy from Vernal and I was her first friend. Well I got really busy and kinda distant and she had a baby so we have both been very busy! Well i finally got in touch with her again and got a pic of her little girl! Her baby is one month now and she is adorable!! I can't wait to finally see them both in person and finally give Kannesha her baby shower gift. ( I wasn't able to make it, her baby shower was 2 days before my cruise, I was really sick & trying to get better before the cruise) I'm so glad we're talking again- finally things have settled down a little for the both of us... although my life seems to be getting very busy now.... :)

I went to Bullfrog-Lake Powell with Kayli and the family. We stayed on Randy's house boat, which made it so nice because it got up to 107!! We spent a lot of time on the boat, in the water and cooling off on the house boat. Everyone seemed to have a great time. Kayli brought her boyfriend Saunder along, it was really nice to get to know him and really spend some time with the both of them since they plan on getting married :) I had a really good time and can't wait to go again! Thank you!!

I had a nice long fourth of July weekend. Friday I went to Park City for Cindy's family reunion. I got to meet a lot of Cindy's family and hang out with Skylar, Valerie and Blake. Later that night I went to Granite High School with my dad to see the fireworks show. It was a lot of fun and the show was great! I ran into my sister Brandy and got to see my niece Ashlynn Rae! I hadn't seen her in like a month and I missed her so much! Saturday I hung out with my friends Robert and Tory. I hadn't seen them in forever either so it was so much fun to hang out with them! We all went to the West Jordan Park for the carnival and fireworks. The show was pretty good there too, after that we all went back and hung out and had a little party. Sunday I hung out with Robert and Tory again- we had a BBQ then went to the drive in's to see Grown Ups and Karate Kid- we all fell asleep during the Karate Kid and the car died- we had to find someone to charge the batery and then wait for it to charge. Monday I went and saw them again for a little and to grab some of my stuff then I went to the mall... and to end it all I got to watch fireworks with Cord, Julian, LeAnne and Boyce. :)

My little sister, Michaela graduated from Cottonwood High School!! I went to the graduation ceremony with my mom and dad- it was a great ceremony and it was so cool to see my little sister walk with her class. The family is so proud of her and we are very excited to see where she goes from here. Cottonwood had a big graduation party there at her school from 9 to 1 am so we couldn't do anything for her after so Saturday we all went out to dinner at Pat's. We plan on having a party for her soon... but unitl then this was all we could do. It was really nice for us all to be out together celebrating her.

Cruise 2010

I got to go on a cruise with my best friend Kayli Marie!!!! :) Kayli's mom Cindy and Cindy's fiance Randy were the ones who took us on the cruise. It was absolutely incredible!!! I had a blast!! Every part of the trip was amazing. So it was a 10 day vacation for me- Thursday we headed to Florida, we got in late but Friday got up early to go to Epcot. I had never been so it was such a great experience for me. Epcot was a lot of fun. All us girls even go to dance with Chubby Checkers on stage, it was awesome!! So even after that long day in Epcot we couldn't go to sleep because tomorrow we got to go on the ship and our cruise week began!! Saturday we got up ate and got ready to leave. The drive from our hotel to the ship was an hour long!! We could barely stand it!! We finally arrived and from a distance in the van we saw our ship!! It was incredible! I can't explain how I was feeling right when I saw that ship. It didn't take us long to board the ship and get everything were we needed it. Right when we got on we started taking pictures! About 15 minutes later Cindy and I were on the dance stage!! :D We got all settled in and just decided to hang out. Sunday was a fun day at sea as Carnival would call it- We had such a fun time hanging out on the ship. We went to our church service where Vaughn Jay Featherstone spoke- he's a very important figure in the LDS church so it was really cool to meet him and hear him speak- a very different experience for me as well. One I will never forget and one that lead me to start looking into the LDS Church Later that day we hung out by the pool and then went to the ship kick off party on the lido deck! It was so cool!! They showed us a video of the ship being built and its first time out at sea and then they passed out glow sticks for the laser show!! It was so cool!! Monday was our first day of excursions. We were in Cozumel, Mexico. We got to go see the Mayan ruins in Tulum- it was an amazing site!! We took a long bus ride to the actual site then a short train ride to the ruins... then we had a long walk through the ruins. Monday night was our first elegant night on the ship. It was so fun to dress up all nice and go to dinner looking so elegant. Later that night me and Kayli just decided to hit the hot tubes then we were off to bed. Tuesday was another day for excursions. We went to Roatan- it was a very poor place but the people were amazing!! We feel in love with our cute little tour guide. Her name is Melody. She was such a sweet girl. So we started off our day by going to a Zip line park!! It was fun!!! Me and Kayli had never been on zip lines so it was so cool that we got to do that together. :) We had a really cool bunch with us, including Sarahmay who is 86! Oh ya 86 and she totally rocked those zip lines- it was awesome. We even got to hold a monkey at the zip line park!! After the zip lines we headed to the beach to meet up with the rest of our group and just spent some time on the beach and shopping :) That night we got all dolled up and just had fun on the ship. We went to a magic act and a dance show and then later we played some bingo!! Wednesday we went to Belize- we had to be up at 7 am! and ready to go... well there was a really bad storm so our ship couldn't dock in Belize so we just sat in the ocean close to Belize and farriers came and got us. We had a 30 minute bus ride to a local restaurant then we got had a 25 mile boat ride to the ruins. It rained a lot while in the boat so by the time we go to the ruins we were drenched- it was so worth it though. We got to see 2 Stella temples- Stella ruins are very rare- There are only like 14 in the US and we got to see 2!! We also go to see some incredible ruins like the Jaguar Temple which was one of my favorites and the Stella 9. We got to climb up the Stella 9 and that was so cool!! That night we went to the deck party and hot tubing with Jordan, Murray, David and Kathrine. It was a blast!!! Then later me and Jordan went to the club and stayed out way to late!! So much fun tho!! Thursday was our last day of excursions- We were in Costa Maya, Mexico. We got to see more really cool ruins and then went to a really cool local restaurant and went swimming and jumping!! I even got pics of all these fish that were in the water with us!! The whole day was a blast and all the excursions were amazing!! That night was our last elegant night on the ship so me and Kayli got all dolled up again- Later that night we went to the comedy club and met the comedian Mike Macy- he was so freakin funny!! Kayli was super tired so she went to bed early- I ended up staying out like all night! Just having a blast at the club and hanging out with everyone!! Friday was another fun day at sea- and kinda our last day to be with everyone. During the day we just hung out with everyone and then at dinner Vaughn Featherstone and his wife had dinner with us. The crew members sang goodbye to all of us then the rest of the night we all just had some fun... FUN FUN FUN! The cruise was absolutely amazing and I'm so glad it went!! I am so glad I got to experience all of that with Kayli- She's my best friend and even tho she missed her Saunder boy she was such a blast and was and always is an amazing friend. And a BIG thank you to Cindy and Randy for taking me on the trip and taking care of everything!! I am so grateful for it all!! Love you guys!!

I threw a bachelorette party for my friend Ashley- It was a blast!! We had it at the residence inn in Sandy. We went out to dinner and had so much fun dancing in the pool and hot tube! A night to remember for sure!!

I was completely fooled. I thought Aaron and I were doing great.... but little did i know he was not into it all. Aaron broke up with me... in the worst and most cowardly way... again. I never saw it coming and because I didn't I feel so tricked. He was an incredibal actor... Even one the day he did it! He came to my work ate lunch with me, hugged and kissed me and.... said I LOVE YOU and then left and about two hours later left me a note on my car that it was over. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? So instead of going through every post about him and erasing it and pretending like he was never there I'm just going to keep them up. He was there and was there all the way- well was acting anyways. I still have a love for him and I miss him so much it kills but... what he did was wrong and really hurts and its over. I just hope that I never have to go through this again and I hope I can get past all my new developed trust issues sooner rather than later.

Blaze Football Game

Aaron came over to get me to hang out for the day and told me we were going to go do something fun that we had never done before.... I had the best weekend and I didn't want it to end! Friday night Aaron and I went to the Jason Aldean concert! It was a blast! The concert was so great! Luke Bryan was there and he is such a great performer!! He was cracking us up!! Then of course J.Aldean came out and he was awesome! He wasn't much of a performer like Luke Bryan but he was still great! We had pretty good seats for getting the tickets like three weeks early- they were almost sold out! We also had a really fun crowd around us which made it even more fun!

After the concert we went to a hotel that Aaron got for us... :) So sweet... there was a hot tube in the room! It was so cool! We had such a fun night! The rest of the weekend we just hung out- we went to Aaron's moms and played poker and Sunday we got Aaron's hair cut... his grandma is a hair dresser so he's never needed to go to a salon so this was his first time lol...then went to the Hunting Expo and that was pretty good. All in all it was a great weekend.

Lately I have had so much going on and on my mind...I feel like I have thousands of thoughts going through my head and I can't quiet my head! Its starting to drive me a little crazy so I thought I'd share some and get them out... Maybe that will help. So I have been thinking about my dad and my little sister a lot. I don't feel like I have spent much time with them lately. Sometimes I can only handle small doses of my dad- I hate to say that but sometimes its true. My little sister has been some what of a headache but she's 18 and just being 18 i guess. She'll get in trouble and my dad asks for help and I give it and then i turn around and he dropped all that i said and lets her do what she wants... then time goes on and she does something again and once again my advice and help is solicited but dropped or forgotten about again and then the same thing happens again and now I'm to the point where I don't want to hear about anything! I don't want to hear about Michaela getting in trouble or something my mom did to piss them off and them asking me for help. I just get so involved with it all and i really can't take it anymore. I feel like growing up I was Michaela's mother and now that she's older she only sees me as this nagging person but I really just want to be her big sister. I haven't needed to be that mother for her for about 2 years now and since then we haven't been very close and it seems like I'm just a bother to her and it really doesn't help the situation when my dad brings me in to help discipline her. I'm trying to figure out a way to get across to her that I just want to be the big sister and a friend not the mother anymore. I love her and was so close to her! It sucks to have lost that but i hope to get that restored one day.

I have thought about my mom a lot too. I have always been the one child that's given her the most grief- i never got pregnant and 15 and I never dropped out of high school but I have always pointed out her flawes. For years I have been angry with her and never let anything she ever did that hurt me go. I've gotten over that the last couple years and it feels so much better. A lot of people help me realize that my mother is who she is. She loved me the only way she knew how to love ME and she did the best she could with what she had on her plate. But... until i realized this I called her on the carpet all the time. I was the only one who didn't look the other way when she wanted us to and I was the only one who never kept quiet and now i feel like I've ruined a relationship that one day I could have had. She never calls me unless she desperately needs something. She never invites me over for dinner anymore or to BBQ's and i can't figure out why. Is she doing something there that might piss me off and does she think that if she does I'll point it out and make her face it? I'm tired of keeping track of her life. She's 47 years old- I'm not about to try to change her anymore. The life she lives is all hers and I'm OK with that now but I'm not OK with being excluded. I sometimes wish i could go back and change somethings I did with my relationship with her in the beginning. She is close with all my other sisters. They all get invited to the parties and over to dinner and I really believe its because they didn't piss her off in the way i did. I don't want to regret how i was with her because its something that at the time i really believed in but now i can see that i damaged her and made things worse in the long run. She will never be that real mother figure to me and I'm OK with that, I have some great women in my life that show me motherly love but I would like to be apart of her life in someway. I want to be there and only there not there to throw things in her face anymore.

My Weekend!

So I had a pretty fun weekend... Lets start from the beginning. FRIDAY: Girls Night!! Friday night I got off work and headed home to pack my bag. Me, Kayli, Cindy and Jann were headed to Logan. We left the house at about 6:30 and headed to Bountiful to pick Jann up... Then we were off to Logan. We stopped in Ogden for some dinner and a movie. We ate at a really good Mexican restaurant, i can't remember the name of it but it was really good.

Out to dinner...

After we saw Extraordinary Measures and that was a really good movie. So it was now like 11:30 and we still needed to get to Logan. It took us an hour to get there from Ogden, the roads were so bad!! It was kinda scary... but we survived. We got to Logan at 12:30 and Cindy and Jann said "We are stopping at Walmart to get PJ's... at 12:30! lol so we did. We all ended up getting matching PJ's. We got that and then headed to our hotel. We got there at 1am... To bed now? Oh no! We got in our PJ's and talked of course! Cindy and Jann talked about the men they have dated and are now dating... and me and Kayli talked about our stupid ex's... Dumb boys breaking cute girls hearts! Well finally at 2 we decided we should go to bed. Cindy and Jann had a conference to attend at 9am! lol silly ladies! So... Me and Kayli slept in til 11:30.

SATURDAY: We finally got up because Cindy and Jann got back. We got ready and went to lunch at Olive Garden and then... Shopping! lol we went to T.J Maxx and all of us found the cutest stuff! It was a great time and I love every second. For me and Kayli it was so very needed.... I'm sure Cindy and Jann needed it as well. We headed home and me and Kayli discovered that we both get car sick sitting in the back seat. We got home at about 6:45ish and felt awful! We were not having it...It sucked to end such a fun day sick but what can you do. :( Well as for that girls trip... Thank you Ladies!! I can't wait to do this again!

SUNDAY: I slept in which felt amazing!! Then I got up and went out with my dad and little sister. We got some new shoes and sunglasses...Then I went to Cindy's for an early dinner to meet a guy named Peter. He's a lost boy from Africa that was saved and brought over to the US by the government. He was a very nice guy and it was cool to hear his story. Later that day Me, Kayli, Austin and his brother Weston went down to Temple Square. Weston is leaving on his mission Wednesday and he wanted to see this temple before he left. Austin and Weston are from Ohio so this was all new to him. It was really cool to see him all excited. Me and Kayli had fun running around down there. It was a really good night and very pretty down there. So that's my weekend... It was a lot of fun!

So... I had a pretty good Saturday for the most part. I went to my friend Ashley's dress fitting (she gets married in May-I'm the maid of honor) :D in Provo, it was fun to see her in the dress she finally decided on! She look great in it! I can't wait to see her on the real day! Then... I went to Kayli's to hang out... then me, her mom and her mom's boyfriend went to see The Book of Eli... Which is a great movie...and I LOVE the music in it!! then... Me and Kayli were off to Salt Lake for some Sushi!! We were meeting some of Kayli's friends at a place called Shogun, it was a fun little place-not the best sushi tho. Kayli and I got there early with a lot of energy so we just hung out for 15 minutes and took pics... Very random pics. It was a lot of fun to just get out and have some fun. I got to meet one of Kayli's good friends from when she was 5... and it didn't go so well. Everyone but me, Kayli and two other people were drunk... wasted actually. So... it really wasn't as much fun as we had planned. We left early before things got to out of hand BUT for the most part it was a good time. Me and Kayli had fun driving down there and jammin out... also hanging out with Cassie, Andrew and Eric. Thanks for the fun night Kay!

I just really need to get some things out of my head... I have had some things happen over the holiday season that have just made me sick. I feel like I was a completely different person- a person I really don't want to be again. I got through the crap with a big thanks to my family and friends. I really want to thank LeAnne- You have been an amazing strength for me! You haven't ever forgot about me or left me when things sucked. You have been teaching me how to be strong and I really want to thank you for that. I look up to you in more ways than I can count and think very highly of you. You have been there in so many ways- You are truly amazing and a great blessing in my life. Thank you so much for making me see more things about me that I can't see all the time. Thank you for the late night cries and talks :) Thank you to you and Boyce for opening up your home to me when things have been rough and when things are good as well. Your family has always been there and I am so thankful for that. LeAnne- I love you so much! HaPPy HaLLoWeeN! I had a great Halloween- I went to my cute friend Kannesha's for a Halloween party... it was so much fun! I got to see her amazing family that I haven't seen in forever! Halloween InfiniTeam Style... haha... My work had a Halloween lunch for everyone and boy was it entertaning! I work with some pretty cool people who keep things fun at work. My really good friend Suesue is in the Airforce and got deployed to Guantanamo Bay Prison to translate for the prisioners there. She is leaving the last week of September and will be gone for 4 months!! She will miss all the holidays well execpt her birthday.

My cute little Ashlynn decided she wanted her ears pierced! Cute huh! Me and my sister Brandy were walking around the mall and out of no where she said she wanted her ears pierced. :) We talked to her about them hurting and she was still confident and said "they will only hurt a little" so we said ok and took her to get them done.

She did so good too! Me and Brandy were way nervous tho!! OMG We were the scared ones! So anyways we got her in the chair and still no fear coming from her...

She got the first ear done and was pissed!! She looked at the lady and said "you hurt me... Don't do it again" ha ha funny girl... then the second ear and still no tears or anything! She just looked at the lady and said "i said don't hurt me" ha ha she is so cute! Then she jumped down and was like k whats next.

As you all know I LOVE LAKE POWELL! My first Powell trip was with the awesome Sanderson Family- We always go to Wahweep. Kayli's family goes to Bullfrog- my first time there- It was so cool! I really liked it. We stayed on a really nice house boat with a bunch of cool people... All of Kayli's mom's friends were down there and Kayli's brothers and their other halfs... and Kayli's BF. :D So us "kids" just hung out together and had a blast! We were out on the lake a lot and when we weren't we were having fun on the house boat- I headed down with Kayli, Sean and her little brother Carter Sunday... We got out on the lake first thing! BTW- I got up on the Wakeboard! WHoop WHoop! I was so freakin happy! I didn't master the surf board but that was due to Sean throwing the board at my head! :) Anyways it was a lot of fun... Thank Kayli & Cindy!

OMG! We went to the Kenny Chesney concert! It was a blast.... Last minute my boss told us he had a bunch of extra tickets for the concert- So I grabbed 4- Me, Aaron, Belinda and Cody all went and had a great time. Me and Belinda totally danced the concert away! Lady Antebellum and Miranda Lambert were also there.... And i love them! I've seen Lady Antebellum before- First time seeing Meranda- They both did great! Loved it! Then Kenny came out!! First off- Thank you Dad, Candy, Grandma Vickie, Tammy and Scott for remembering my birthday! That meant so much! :)
YAY! I'm 19... That means i can.... By smokes- Whoop whopp! NOT! I don't smoke and won't ever support anyone with that disgusting habit so... Yay for me i'm 19 and can't do a damn thing. Anyways, July 11th was my birthday and it was a great one. I woke up and got an amazing surprise from SueSue- 3 dozen roses! They were so beautiful, i couldn't believe all the roses! Thank you SueSue! Love you girl! Later that night I was having a pool party at Boyce and LeAnne's. Yes they were so nice and let me have a pool party at their house with all my crazy friends! Thank you!! :D And they were very nice and bought me a cake! I can't say thank you enough! I loved everything! So the party was a blast, we all had some drinks and relaxed by the pool, well me, Kayli and Jeremy did. :D Aaron, Robert, Tory and Bryan kept jumping in and getting out to play basketball. Anyways it was a great party! I loved every minute! Thank you so much Boyce and LeAnne! You guys are awesome! Love you!

Sunday Donna had a BBQ planned for my birthday, my dad, Michaela, Belinda and her new man came with us. :D The BBQ was great too, we had ribs, chicken and pork! Yum!! Ashley & Brad, Dina & Cliff and Tyler and his girlfriend also came up. It was really nice to relax with everyone and catch up a bit. I really enjoyed it. Happy Fourth of July! I love the 4th, fireworks are the best. So Friday the 3rd me and Aaron went to Granite High School with our friends Robert and Tory. :) Granite puts fireworks on every year and its always a great show! Robert has an amazing family who is always so welcoming and so loving. A lot of his family was there including his cute neices Sam and Kati. They are so freakin cute! Me and Aaron took Sam and Kati on the big blow up slides they had so much fun and after that they were clinging to us. Kati just loved Aaron! It was so cute! And he was so all about her. Then for the 4th me and Aaron went to Donna's mom's in Sandy. We had some yummy food and got to talk to everyone and that was a blast! We left to go get Robert, Jeremy and Roberts little brother Easton. We made it back just in time for the fireworks. Sandy put on another really good show.

Lake Powell 2009

Lake Powell 2009 Baby! Its that time of year again that I head to Lake Powell with the Sanderson's. :) I absolutely love Powell. Its the most amazing lake- its so beautiful and always an amazing site! We stayed down there for 5 days and had a blast! So we set up camp and did some shopping and just hung out Friday night- it was so nice to just relax by the fire- very needed for both of us. Saturday the fun began, we visited with some of Boyce and LeAnne's friends, and that was fun to just sit, talk and have some drinks. We ate at Antelope Marine.... yummy and a very cool place.... But, once off the lake I got to see just how red i really was! Not a pretty site. Anyways boating was so much fun! Monday we went to Rainbow Bridge and that was an amazing thing to see. I've seen it before but it never fails to take my breathe away, we got there really early this year, which was so nice! It wasn't scorching hot walking to the bridge. Monday was my favorite day out there. We got the wake surf, knee board and tube out. Everyone, even little Julian got up on the Wake Surf but ME! But I did try... I think I'm afraid of the board lol. Oh well, I WILL get it one day. But enough about me, Aaron got up and it was awesome! It looked so fun! So then everyone else tried and CORDELL- Got up! It was so awesome to see him up and doing so good on it and he LOVED it!!! So after the wake surf Aaron wanted to get on the tube, so he did-well he fell off and hit the water pretty hard, his ear was killing him he said, we he thought well maybe if i dive it will relieve some pressure, nope! It made it much worse. We went to dinner that night and then to get some shirts and he was in so much pain and said he had to go to the hospital- So we took him to the Page Hospital- they said he had a bulging eardrum. He gave him some pain killers and antibiotics and sent him on his way and then he was just fine. :) So even though Aaron had to go to the ER the last day this Lake Powell trip was the best yet! Thank you so much Boyce and LeAnne- The trip was amazing and so much fun! You guys are so awesome! I love you guys so much!

Walmart makes me SO mad!

So some of you might know that my dad has epilepsy- he had it has a child and then went away when he was a teen- then when he was an adult it came back. So he got his epilepsy back when he was about 30 and has had it ever since. He has had MRI's EEG's and all sorts of test and is even a candidate for brain surgery- So there is some background- well he takes medicine called Keppra and Trileptal- and just recently we made a horrible switch- we decided to go to Walmart pharmacy for his meds- BIG MISTAKE! He started going to Walmart in January 09 and things have been fine- then in April the pharmacy gave him the wrong meds! They gave him is Keppra but instead of Trileptal they gave him DayPro- an arthritis medicine! Can you believe that!!! So it wasn't til May 18th when we caught it- he was having so many seizures and just wasn't him self so we looked into his meds and found the mistake. We confronted Walmart and they totally owned up to the whole thing! We are now in a case- well have been since that night and finally- well i hope- we are coming to an end and an agreement! I hope- or i should say they hope! This has been such a mess and so scary. I have been so worried about my dad- if you know me then you know that I handle ALL of my dad's heath needs. Dr. appointments- i schedule them all and take care of everything. So i have a really good understanding of what he needs and what is normal for him. So when this all happened i jumped right in and started getting him seen by every doctor he needed to be seen by. I was so worried about him and didn't know what was going to happen or what damage had been caused. Well after A LOT of appointments and test we found out that it will take 3 to 6 months to get his seizure meds back on track and back on track with his body- he has an ulcer (biopsies show it was created by the DayPro) he's lost 15 pounds! due to the ulcer ( he was 130 to begin with- very skinny man- he really had no weight to loss) and a whole lot of worry and stress. Well it is now May 25th and he has gained 3 pounds! That is awesome for him! I was so happy and very excited to see him finally improving- he's only had 1 seizure in the last two weeks! and is doing really well. But.... Now I'm in a fight with Walmart- We are working on a settlement- and so far what they have offered has been a joke! I couldn't even believe it! I'm a fighter when it comes to him- so today we should be coming to an agreement- just waiting for that call- But just make sure you really look at what your taking- Some people asked us- Well doesn't he look at what he is taking- and yes he does but the pill looked the same he just didn't look at the bottle- But we should be able to trust our pharmacists! They go to school for this kind of stuff! I didn't think i ever had to question them. Well we were wrong- and thank god their careless mistake didn't kill him or do any permanent or serious damage. We are all so thankful that he is doing good and that this headache should be soon- VERY SOON i hope- OVER!

My FIRST Scentsy Party!!! So I have been a Scentsy consultant for a little while now and finally had my first party... at.... Roberts House! (thanks Robert) It went great! We had a good crowd and good sales- I had so much fun setting everything up and making it look all cute. The next really fun part- Making thank you cards (which i love) and putting the orders together and then delivering them! I love getting the party orders in and putting them all together with their own little thank you card. I hope everyone had a good time and I hope everyone loves their Scentsy stuff!

Sick Puppy

Our cute little Charlie gave us a BIG scare! I cooked some chicken drum sticks and for some reason we left our plates in his reach while getting some yummy fruit pizza and Charlie got TWO drumsticks and ate them all! We called Aaron's mom to ask what to do ( cute right, he's like our kid and we're asking mom for help) she said we should try to make him throw them back up. So..... we then fed him MORE chicken and got him to drink a lot of water AND Aaron spun him around and around- and still not a thing back up. We were still really scared so we called a 24hr vet hospital and they said whatever happens try not to make him throw up!!!! So then we try all night to calm him down and get him to relax and NOT throw up, and he didn't! He listened! Well its been 5 days and he is still kickin! Thank God!
We love him so much and have become so attached to him and losing him would be horrible. So we are so thankful he is ok and not hurt at all! :)

GAY PRIDE BABY! I have the most amazing friends who are gay/lesbian. So to show off our pride we all went to PrIdE together on Saturday. At first there weren't a lot of people and it was kinda slow, but when we were leaving it was getting more busy and looked like the night was picking up. We still decided to leave because the Pride Parade was Sunday and they were all going to go. So we left and met up with Aaron and Zack (they didn't attend Pride) at the mall- we all watched Brian and Jeremy shop- Funny stuff! I just want to say that we have some great friends and we love them so much. We have known ROBERT for almost two years but it feels like FoReVeR!!! We met at Valley High and were best friends right there, he is one of the best guys I know and have NO idea what I would do without him. We started hanging out more and that's when I met SueSue! (Roberts Cousin) and she's such a sweetheart! She has the most fun personality! And then Robert met Tory, and he is so great! Everyone is great lol Well then later we met Jeremy and Brian we just love them too. They are both so funny! I can't get enough of any of them.

We all had a BBQ at Roberts Saturday- Tory had to go to work tho-sad. But he showed up later, but the whole time was fun! I love hanging out with all of them, they all mean so much to me!

Camping 2009

Yay! Camping season is here! We went to Strawberry with- Robert, Tory, SueSue, Bryan and Jeremy and of course Charlie and Timber. Everyone had a blast! We had just met Bryan and Jeremy and it was so good to get to know them better. The weather was kinda crappy Saturday, it was sprinkling a little and kinda cold but then it got warmer and it was nice. But.... Then night came and it rained so hard all night long. We stayed dry in our tent but some time during the night Tory and Robert and SueSue woke up drenched! Their tent had been leaking! We didn't hear about it til morning but I felt so bad. They looked so cold and really tired. Well we got up and it was still kinda sprinkling and then it started to rain a little harder so we all decided to start packing up early. Well as we were all packing up it started to rain even harder! So as we were walking around we also sank. It was so muddy! We finally got camp all put away and got our extremely wet and muddy dog in my lap and we were off.... Kinda. Like i said it was so muddy! So the trucks were trying to go but just decided to slide instead. We finally got out of the campsite and on the main road and I was so happy! Before we all went home we took our muddy butts to breakfast in Heber. So we didn't get to camp long but that's ok.

We found him on KSL, he was $100 but she gave him to us for free! We called Friday night and she called us back Saturday and said if we got him right now he was ours! I was so excited when i saw him! A weekend with the Sanderson boys!

Me and Aaron were asked to watch Cordell and Julian for the weekend, Friday to Monday morning, we said yes. Cordell is 9 and JuJu is 4, and they were sooooo GOOD! The first night we went got some BK for JuJu and Arby's for the rest of us. We all headed to our house to eat while i packed my bag for the weekend and the boys met Roxy. Roxy is Aaron's little sisters dog so we let them play with her. They had so much fun with her! It was so cute to see Ju run around with this tiny dog. When it was time to go they asked if we could take Roxy with us. We told them that we would bring her the their house one day.... Saturday was a more eventful day. We had two soccer games and pictures after. Cordell's game was at 1 and he did great! He scored twice and his team was the winning team! It was awesome to see my little bro out there scoring! After his game we got some slurpee's and a treat and we headed to his friends so he could sleep over.

Then it was time for Ju's game. I just woke him up from his nap and he started to cry, he said he wanted to see Roxy lol ( oh what did we start ) he got over it and dressed and we headed to his game. His game was lots of fun too. The little kids looked to cute out there. I think they were 3 to 4 in ages. Julian did great too! He scored a lot! He was so funny, after like 10 or 15 minutes into the game he just hung out by the net and when the ball came his way he kicked it in! :D so cute! But after 30 minutes of that the whole team decided that soccer wasn't for them. But they finished it out and won!

Sunday Cordell came home and we just hung out at home til it was time to go to dinner. Aaron forgot his work clothes so we went to our house first to get that, and see Roxy and then we went to Chef Tom's for dinner. YUM!!! Aaron really doesn't like that place and I have no idea why because its amazing! Anyways we got them home, teeth brushed and in bed. And Monday morning got the kids ready and off to school. The whole weekend was fun. The boys were so great and both listened so well.

Valentine's Party

By far the most fun we have had with The Christmas Box House. My work decided to do a Valentine's party for the kids at CBH. Tahna and I were put in charge of picking out the decorations, games and prizes. Planning it was a lot of fun. We both like getting involved with the CBH and this activity we did was the best! Not only did we pick out everything, decorate the place but..... We got to really meet the kids and play with them! There was about 12 or 14 kids and every one of them was so amazing! They had fun personalities and were all so great! We planned three things for the kids to do. We had two games set up and after the games we had them decorate cookies.All the kids loved it! And they loved the games so much we let them keep them. I don't think any of us will forget this experience or the kids we met that day. Happy Valentine's Day!

So for Robert's birthday his family and friends all had dinner at Olive Garden and that was so much fun! His parents, brother and sisters were there, his grandparents and his good friends. So after dinner we went to Rob's house for a party with all his friends. It was a really fun night, Aaron wanted to drink so he drank and i stayed sober! YAY ME! Me and my new friend Ben were the sober twins that night. It was a great night and i look forward to more fun nights at Rob's!

Aaron is the big 19! LOL YAY! So today was Aaron's birthday and we had the whole day planned. I got up and cooked him breakfast, we had pancakes, one of his favorites. And i went around and hide his birthday cards. Yes i got him more than one. I got him 3. So we were just hanging out talking about what we wanted to do for his birthday and i told him i wanted to go to Park City and have lunch up there and walk around and all that, and that sounded great to Aaron. And then his dad called.... AND he wanted to take Aaron to lunch and I wasn't going to be rude and keep him all to myself so we went to lunch with him. Aaron was upset about that. He didn't want me to say yes to his dad. He wanted to do what i had planned. So anyways we went to Red Rock for lunch. It was me and him, his dad and brother Zack.
Later that night we went to dinner with some family. Donna and my dad wanted to do something for his birthday so we all met at Goodwood BBQ. Donna, Dave, my dad, Ashley and Brad all came. And that didn't go to well either. Aaron really likes that place but they really screwed up that night. They screwed up his steak and sent it back and then found out that they were out of that steak so he didn't get what he wanted. So after dinner we took my dad home and headed home and Aaron decided he didn't like one part of his birthday and decided to go to bed. So i stayed up feeling horrible about the whole thing, thinking i ruined his birthday. The next morning we talked about it. He said sorry for the hurtful things he said to me about his birthday but I'm still hurt. Maybe next year will be better.

My cute little niece just had a birthday and is now 3 years old! Her real birthday is Jan. 12 but I didn't see her. I wanted to do something really fun and special for her, so I took Friday off from work and spent the day with Ashlynn! During the week me and Donna talked about some fun things we could do with her while she was her. So we came up with a very eventful day. We invited Riley up to play with Ashlynn. When Riley got there we started making sugar cookies! They had so much fun! They helped roll and cut out the cookie shapes and then they got to frost the cookies and put sprinkles on them. They made a BIG mess but it was so worth it! When they were all done with that we helped them make some sticker pages. I really don't know what you would call what they created but it was so cute and lots of fun.... I guess its scrapbooking for tots!
Dawn and Cody came back over to sing happy birthday, eat cake and open gifts. Ashlynn got a FurReal puppy and a FurReal dog and some play dogs.... She loves dogs! Her and Riley ate some cake and played with all the toys and when Aaron got home we took the girls to Jungle Jim's!

So Jungle Jim's is not really what i remember when i was a kid, but it was fun for them. Ashlynn went on every ride! She is such a brave little girl, I think her favorite ride was the airplanes. It was so funny, Riley wanted to go on the ride but when i started she started crying and yelling HELP! And Ashlynn is in the plane in front saying... YAY!

The whole day was so much fun! Very exhausting but fun! Thanks Donna! You were a big help! I couldn't of done it with out you. :) Happy birthday Ashlynn Rae!

A new year is here! YaY! I can't believe how fast 2008 went by! 2008 was a really good year but I'm so looking forward and so excited for 2009.

I had a really nice New Years Eve. I went to Dawn & Andy's house to play cards and eat! I had so much fun! We played a card game called Hand and Foot. It was so much fun. We were on teams too, Andy and Aaron were on a team, me and Dave were on a team and Donna and Dawn were on a team. Andy and Aaron won like 3 or more games, i cant really remember but me and Dave won one game! I remember that!!! Go me and Dave! It may sound like a lame night but we really enjoyed it and loved every minute. When the clock hit midnight and it was finally 2009 me and Aaron had our first kiss for 2009. And then we went home and went to sleep! :) We're kind of lame and can't stay up all night but oh well. :) So at 12:15 or so me, Aaron, Donna and Dave headed home.

Brighton Ski Resort

LeAnne and Boyce took me and Aaron snowboarding and skiing with them and two of their boys on Sunday. I tried snowboarding last winter and it didn't go so well so this year I decided to try skiing. We all started on the bunny hill and then after about two runs we headed to he next lift, I think it was Majestic. The first run was pretty fun, I was just getting the feel for that hill. Me and Cordell seemed to always be behind the group, but that's ok! We still rocked it Cord! The second run was the best run for me. I think i feel about 2 times but not that hard. I was feeling really confident and excited to go again. The whole time Aaron, LeAnne, Boyce and Callen were doing great. Me and Cordell seemed to be struggling a little. I think that me and Cord have a hard time flying down a Mountain. So we got to the end of the Mountain and decided to go again. And that last run sucked for me! I feel so hard! And in a bunch of really deep snow. It was so embarrassing and really cold! I hated that part. I got my self together with Aaron's help and started down the Mountain again..... AND then...... I fell again. Really hard! So when we finally got to the end of the run I wanted to go rest. We got some lunch and rested for a little. I was hurting so much! lol and Aaron was really sick so we decided to go home early. :( Thanks again guys, it was a blast!

In all we both had a lot of fun and I'm up for skiing again! Thanks Boyce and LeAnne! I love you guys and had so much fun! Thank you so much for all you have done for me! I love you and your family so much! Good job Cordell and Callen. I love your new boards. :)
